The countdown time is displayed at the top of the screen. When it reaches zero, your game is over. You can gain extra time by either passing the checkpoint or by collecting the clock icon - it gives you extra time.
You can use Hyper power for turbo speed when you press the mouse button. Collect the Hyper racecraft icon to refuel when you run out of Hyper power.
