She is one of the characters from the Hercules movie, and to be more precise, she is his sweetheart. At the beginning of the movie, she is just another mortal, but somewhere along the way she goes to Hades, the God of darkness and gives her soul to him, in exchange that he brings back one of her loves that had died. Unfortunately for Goddess Megara, that lover has already fallen in love with someone else and so Megara becomes stuck in Hades' service.
